BLAH

I don't have anything specific to write about so I'm writing something random tonight.

I was 16. A sophomore in high school and obsessed with Kelly Clarkson's first album and Mario's single "Let Me Love You".

10 Years From Now...
God willing, I will be 36. If I close my eyes right now, I see our kids running around the house. The youngest is pulling on our cat's/dog's tail, the oldest is complaining about something. Kevin and I are exhausted and sleep deprived but we are happy because we have each other.

5 snacks I enjoy...
1. Bagel with creme cheese
2. Nutella with crackers (more Nutella than crackers)
3. Popcorn
4. Cheez-Its
5. Chocolate

The concerts I've been to...
1. Backstreet Boys
2. Spice Girls
3. Rascal Flatts
4. Linkin Park
5. Justin Bieber (and I don't regret it)
6. Lifehouse
7. Ariana Grande
8. The Beach Boys

The concerts I want to go to...
1. Avenged Sevenfold
2. Backstreet Boys (Yes, again!)
3. Lady Gaga
4. Katy Perry
5. Jennifer Lopez

5 things most people don't know about me...
1. I've had my future children's names picked out since forever ago. Unfortunately, Kevin only liked a select few from my list. His rule, "if you can't walk into a gift store and find the name on a sticker/mug/keychain, then it's a definite NO." My hubs is not picky at all.

2. I slept with a night light in my room until I was in high school. I don't like the darkness.

3. I absolutely dislike scary movies. The last scary movie I saw (from beginning to end) was The Sixth Sense. I was 10.

4. I love listening to other languages. Whenever I go in for manicures, I'm so intrigued when they start  speaking in Korean, I just hope it's not about me!

5. I still sleep with the blanket my Grandmother sewed for me when I was a baby and I pray every night before going to sleep.

A picture from this weekend
They are such goofballs together. I love our fur baby family.
Good night, lovelies.

With love,
Ale

Twenty-six.

I wanted to share on my blog a couple of my favorite memories that happened while I was 25. I believe it to be one of my memorable years as of yet.

While I was twenty-five, I:

1. After a lot of dedication of studying Dr.Boosalis's RICA prep videos on his YouTube channel, I was able to pass the RICA (the second time around). This moment was such an accomplishment for me. I cried, I laughed, and most importantly I was so happy because this meant I got to stay at my school site and continue teaching.

2. With the passing of the RICA, I shall be earning my Education Specialist Credential very soon (in May). It took me a little longer to accomplish this goal compared to the typical full-time student but I got it and it's finally going to be official.

3. After much planning and saving, Kevin and I made our dream come true. We got married through Church with God as our witness. We celebrated with our loved ones and danced the night away. This day is by far my most favorite day.

Twenty-five was wonderful and at this moment, I want to thank God.

Thank you, God for the health that you provide to my loved ones and to me. Thank you for the happiness. Thank you for the over-pouring love that I am lucky to experience through my husband's eyes or through memories made with my family and close friends.

I am truly blessed. Twenty-six, I'm ready for ya and I am excited to see what else is in store.

P.S.
Thank you to everyone who called me, texted me, and left me lovely messages on my social media. I love you all❤️

With love,
Ale
