Happy Birthday to my Mama!

My mom has pretty much done anything and everything for us three kids and my dad. Not only did she leave her own country to start a new in the United States years ago but she has cleaned for us, cooked for us, supported us for all school and life events, has been our taxi driver, patiently went through our attitude and rolling-our-eyes-for-everything phase (she is currently going through that phase with the little sister and my brother at times), held us close when we were upset, stayed home from work to take care of us when we were sick, pretended to be Santa Claus and replied to our letters every year, attended and cheered us on at every rainy soccer game, dance recital, and volleyball game. She has supported us through life's good times and bad and continues to do so much more. 

She is my inspiration.

Happy Birthday to my real life superhero.

I finally did it!

For years now, I've debated whether or not I should start a blog. With the inspiration of a couple of blogs that I faithfully read http://lovetaza.com/  and http://www.kholly.com/blog/ (I strongly recommend both. They talk about love, marriage, life, family...all of my favorite subjects!) I was finally able to make up my mind and here I am!

Not too sure how long this will last. I guess we will see!

Like I said before, I love reading about life, love, marriage, family, pets, traveling and so on. Most likely those will be the topics that I will be writing about as well. 

I hope you enjoy my blog. Oh and before I forget...a special shout out to my husband for telling me "just do it" on this spontaneous decision of mine. He is so used to my randomness. (:
